Our Story

Growing up Amish, I didn’t realize the beauty, simplicity, and uniqueness of our culture.  My grandfather had an antique store and I would make wooden shelves and trinkets to sell there.  The small hobby farm where we lived was full of life.  Horses, goats, calves, and my dog Frisky were faithful friends.  Daily chores taught me responsibility and a strong work ethic.  From milking cows before school, helping on my uncle’s commercial farm, and then learning construction industry as I grew older, these all shaped who I’ve become today.

Oh, and I should mention that my mom is one of the best cooks I know!

Fast forward to now. we still live and work in Lancaster County Pennsylvania.  Even though I’ve left that lifestyle, we have great relationships with my Amish family and friends.   My wife has taken an interest in getting their great products to the rest of the world.  She hand picks each product to ensure that it meets quality standards and that we can ship it affordably and still intact.

We hope you enjoy our slice of heaven on earth as much as we do!

Market

It was a great joy to go with my dad to market on Saturdays. We sold jams and jellies and I sold my wooden shelves there too. This picture was taken by a lady that was visiting from another state.

Sibling Love

My mom was a busy lady. She had 5 children, multiple gardens, and provided elderly care on the side. Sometimes I wonder how she did it all.

My Dog Friskie

Still the best dog ever even though he's long gone.
